My name is Broderick Schwinghammer and I am a movie lover! It all started with the first time I saw Moonrise Kingdom in theaters and I haven’t looked back since!

Since my sophomore year of college, I have been tracking the box office for almost every major movie release. I’ve never been particularly interested in business or finance, but I find those two subjects fascinating when it comes to film. By taking a deep dive into the box office numbers, one can truly see where the business of filmmaking and the creative aspects of production intersect.
